Smooth Sailing & FAQ
Got questions about hopping aboard Fort Myers Beach's tiki boats? We've got the tropical details covered below! Find everything from booking timelines to private charter differences.
What types of tours do you offer?
We offer a variety of sun-soaked adventures around Fort Myers Beach! Choose from our legendary Sunset Cruises, sandbar excursions, wildlife and dolphin spotting tours, and custom private charters. Every tour is hosted on our Tiki boats equipped with Bluetooth sound systems, BATHROOMS, coolers with ice, and a friendly, USCG-licensed captain to guide your cruise.
What is the difference between private and public tours?
Public tours are booked on a per-seat basis, making them perfect for smaller groups, couples, or solo travelers looking to make new friends under the sun. Private charters book the entire tiki boat exclusively for your group (up to 18 guests). With a private tour, you can, blast your own playlist, and enjoy the whole boat to yourselves.
How long are the tours?
Choose your perfect tiki adventure! From a quick 90-minute cruise to a relaxing 3-hour escape, a 4-hour celebration, or a full-day adventure on the water, we have the perfect tour for your crew. Explore Fort Myers Beach, spot local wildlife on our 2 hour public tour. Enjoy the sunshine, and make memories you'll remember…mostly!
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible! Our beautiful Florida sunset slots and weekend charters fill up quickly. We recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance for standard weekends, and 4 to 6 weeks in advance if you are planning a trip during peak holidays, Spring Break, or organizing a special celebration.
How do I book?
Booking your tiki trip is simple! Just click on any 'Book Now' button across our website to check real-time availability on our live calendar, select your preferred date, enter guest count, and checkout securely. Alternatively, feel free to give our friendly harbor crew a call for any special requests.
What happens after I book?

You will receive an instant confirmation email loaded with essential details, including our exact departure dock location, parking recommendations, and a quick list of what to pack (byob drinks, sunscreen, and polarized shades). We will also send a reminder text 24 hours before we set sail. Our marina is privately owned and does charge $10 a car for parking.

Boats & Groups FAQ
Ready to set sail on Fort Myers Beach? Here's everything you need to know about our custom tiki tours, passenger capacities, and booking your private group excursion.
How many guests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate groups up to 24 guests total across both vessels! Our smaller tiki boat holds up to 6 guests, while our larger boat, the Mary Brigid, holds up to 18 guests.
What are the two boats?
Our boats consist of two custom-built floating tiki boats: our smaller private 6-passenger tiki cruiser, and the 'Mary Brigid', our flagship Coast Guard-certified commercial tiki vessel designed for larger groups up to 18 passengers.
What is the capacity of the smaller private boat?
Our smaller, original private tiki boat has a maximum capacity of up to 6 guests. This strict limit is in accordance with US Coast Guard regulations, ensuring an incredibly safe, personalized tour. Our 6 passenger tiki is still quite spacious at 26 x 14 feet and does have a bathroom onboard.
What is the capacity of Mary Brigid?
The gorgeous Mary Brigid is fully certified by the US Coast Guard to carry up to 18 passengers. She is equipped with a professional master captain and mate, a full-size thatched tiki roof, a restroom, and spacious bar-style seating.
Which boat will my group be on?
This depends entirely on your party size! Groups of 1 to 6 can book slots on our original tiki boat. Groups larger than 6 will automatically be booked on our spacious 18-passenger Mary Brigid. Smaller groups are welcome to book the Mary Brigid but must pay for a minimum of 7 people.
Can groups book a private boat?
Yes, absolutely! We love hosting private charters. You can reserve the entire 6-passenger boat or the 18-passenger Mary Brigid all to yourselves for birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate events, and sunset family gatherings.

CRUISE SAFETY & WEATHER DECISIONS
Weather & Cancellations FAQ
Public Tours: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure are eligible for a full refund.
Private Tours: Cancellations made at least 7 days before departure are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations outside these timeframes may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
No shows are not eligible for refunds.
Weather Policy
We do operate in the rain. However, the safety of our guests and crew is always our top priority. The Captain has the final decision on whether it is safe to depart. If we must cancel your tour due to weather or any other reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Who makes the final weather cancellation decisions?
The Captain has ultimate final authority. All weather assessments are made directly at the dock by our USCG-certified Captains right before departure. Since coastal Florida weather can change in minutes and is highly localized, weather apps are often inaccurate. Please arrive at the marina as planned unless you hear from us directly.
What counts as 'bad weather' for a cancellation?
Our boats are safely covered, so we love to cruise through light, passing showers! We will only cancel or delay a tour in the case of active lightning, severe high winds, or heavy downpours that pose a safety hazard. Safety always comes first.
Are we eligible for a refund if a tour is canceled?
Absolutely! If our crew cancels your scheduled tour due to weather concerns prior to leaving the dock, you will receive a full 100% refund or can choose to reschedule to any open slot of your choice. If a tour is cut short due to sudden local storm warnings, we will issue a prorated refund or voucher.
Can we cancel if the weather is safe but we'd prefer sunny skies?
Our standard booking policy for PRIVATE Tours requires a 7 days for a guest-initiated cancellation or rescheduling request. Inside that 7 day window, all bookings are final. We do not provide refunds or reschedules for guest-initiated requests due to overcast skies, chilly breezes, or warm temperatures if the Captain deems the weather safe to cruise.
Public Tours-require 24 hours notice of cancellation. This is our 2 hour Wildlife Tour at 9am.
What should we wear or bring if rain is forecasted?
We recommend wearing comfortable beach/resort attire! Since we operate in sub-tropical Florida, a passing sprinkle is common. Bringing a light jacket, poncho, or towel is always a great idea.

Location & Service Area FAQ
Planning your tropical tiki escape? Here's everything you need to know about where we set sail and the breathtaking island destinations we can explore. Please note: not every tour visits every location due to duration, weather, and custom route choices.
Where do you depart from?
Our vibrant tiki tours primarily set sail from our main dock on Fort Myers Beach! We are located at Getaway Marina (18400 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931). You'll receive clear boarding instructions, parking directions, and a direct map link in your email booking confirmation.
Where is Fort Myers Beach?
Fort Myers Beach is a gorgeous, seven-mile barrier island located on Estero Island along the sunny Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida. Situated just west of mainland Fort Myers, north of Bonita Springs, and south of Sanibel Island, it's famous for its shallow white sands, world-class sunsets, and endless dolphin sightings.
Do you serve Cape Coral?
Yes, we do! While our regular daily cruises launch from our primary Fort Myers Beach location, we can arrange custom pick-ups and private charters serving the Cape Coral waterways. Please contact our crew in advance to discuss dock options, as tidal ranges and bridge heights can affect the larger tiki structure.
Do you serve Sanibel and Captiva?
Absolutely! We frequently head out to the scenic waters surrounding beautiful Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Our custom private charters allow you to cruise right under the Sanibel Causeway, look for shells along sandbars, view the historic Sanibel Lighthouse from the water, and spot wild bottlenose dolphins swimming in the sound.
Do you offer trips toward Cayo Costa?
We love Cayo Costa! Since Cayo Costa is a remote, untouched state park island further north, it requires a longer cruise. We offer specialized Full-Day Private Charters (typically 6-8 hours) that can take you up into these pristine, completely wild waters. Reach out to our booking team to build your ultimate custom Cayo Costa beach-hopping itinerary!
